Wow! That is scary, but New Orleans was spared. Pensacola was not. I saw some remarkable photos from that area. Hmmm, I guess that’s why I’m remarking on them now.

I was reading about Ivan somewhere and the author quoted Edward R Murrow as saying “The definition of Humility will be written in the eye of a hurricane.” Photos like this remind us how fragile our secure view of natural world is. We tend to forget that unless something like a hurricane or a tornado or a forest fire comes along to remind us.
