This is one of those stories that pretty much wrote itself. I felt like writing something, and sat down, and bang, out it came, out of nowhere. I really like Buller’s voice, but I’m not at all sure I could do it again.

Ah, the oft-used analogy. Very nice. Good use of description. Could use some tightening, but the ending snuck up on me, and that’s always a plus.

I liked it. Your work usually has some sort of catch as the punchline but that one was great! I’ve sometimes thought lawyers are bloodsucking leeches but the vampire thing was a new one.
