So, I’m browsing the pictures in the link last night and the hubby sees them over my shoulder, practically dumps me out of the chair and sits down to 30 minutes of looking at them himself. ;o)
My word! That does not look safe. I love it though. I actually thought of this myself, not knowing it had been done. Here’s the proof, a snipet of my fiction:
“As the sun grew to its hottest, irrespective of the rain that continues, I saw a large ring rolling toward me. It stopped, and a man greeted me from the driver’s seat. He claimed I was chosen of God to work among his people because I had lived in the desert alone until he discovered me. I tried to explain my experience, even my education, but he merely nodded and repeated his original conclusion.
I am presently sitting in his ring vehicle, a rough shaped circle which he steers by leaning to one side or another. It’s a man-powered contraption, using pedals on the driver’s side. I see the room for immediate improvement. He can’t see in front of him, only to the sides. I laughed when he stuck out his head to check his direction. He may be irritated at me.”
I should have credited the site where I found it–but I find that I can’t remember where I found it. I was surfing about, and there it was. I used a bookmarklet to do the post, and when I thought about it later couldn’t remember where I’d been.

Actually, I have seen something like that before — but just a couple of days ago!
