Gosh, Phil, there is nothing finer than having a good mornings work done, supper in the crock pot, snow swirling around outside and settling down under a wool comforter with your shoes off and your belt undone to read until you nod off. It’s one of the finer pleasures in life. Not something for everyday but to be savored just once in a while.
That does sound so nice, Deb, I’ll agree; but maybe I’m struggling with daily discontent. I don’t know how often I arrive at 1:00 saying, “What a wonderful morning’s work I’ve done.” Of course, I’m usually at the office, http://www.cbmc.com.
Phil,
Monday thru Fri I am at the office also; it’s Saturdays when I get up early, put my house in order, clean the ghastliest area for the week, toss the laundry between washer and drier and clothes basket, get a decent supper made for the Dear Ones, help the youngest Child with homework and reward myself with a couple hours of down time. And, that’s only if the grocery store has been visited during the week and the Aged Mother doesnt need me to drive in to do stuff for her. ;o)
I hate when that happens to me. I don’t want to sleep in the afternoon!
